All About Books are books that are created by young children or beginning writers on familiar topics. An example of how an All About Me book will be used is at the beginning of the school year or when the teacher enters the Primary School for Practice Teaching. This is where the students will create a book, All About themselves. When using this strategy the Grade level is very important. At a younger level, for instance Grade 1, the teacher may use a few days to complete the session. This can also be used as a means of Assessment when a topic is taught.
